We are delighted to offer you this sterling silver mens jewelry box from 1922. It was manufactured by John Chattellier and retailed by Bailey Banks & Biddle. According to the Encyclopedia of American Silver Manufacturers, “John Chattellier specialized in manufacturing sterling cigar, cigarette and clock cases, razor sets, jewel and cigarette boxes and watch cases.”
This large box has a masculine, handsome look with an engine-turn design, almost like a stripe pattern going across. The inside has been re-lined with a rich hunter green velvet adding to an already luxurious look. In the center of the lid, there’s a hand-engraved script monogram. This piece is for the man who appreciates the finest things in life.
