This early 20th-century Buffalo Foam Fire Extinguisher has been cleverly deconstructed for reuse as a unique umbrella stand. Could also hold fireplace tools, become a tall planter, or serve as the base of a small side table. We love the embossed type and the brass-on-copper industrial, mixed metals. Made by the Buffalo Fire Appliance Corp in Buffalo, NY. The outside has been freshly polished. The inside has been clear-sealed, so the natural green and white patina remains visible, but it will not rub off on anything that is stored inside the canister.

Good vintage condition. The item is solid and sturdy, with a few shallow dents and small spots down one side, typical of age and materials. All flaws are visible in the photos. The outside has been freshly polished. The inside has been clear-sealed, so the natural green and white patina remains visible, but it will not rub off on anything that is stored inside the canister.
