Sourced from Trepail France in the Reims district known for its vineyards. This awesome wood crate was used to gather grapes. Each vineyard would mark their baskets and crates and reuse them for many years. This crate has the vineyard name on the side but after so many years it is very hard to read. Very sturdy construction with reinforced front, back, and bottom. Notched sides for easy handling. There is a metal mend on one end for extra character. This long shallow shape is hard to find.

Very versatile container perfect for display and organization. Fill it with firewood, towels, toys, throws, pillows, or even plants. Perfect for indoor or patio use.

The crate measures about 38.5 inches wide, 16 inches deep, and 10 inches tall.
